By SDG 15, “Protect, restore, and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and biodiversity loss,” the Company is committed to sponsoring environmental activities.

We funded the East African Wildlife Society’s forest conservation fundraising effort ”The Forest Challenge” at Kereita Forest in 2022. The earnings of this venture will go towards tree-planting activities in Kenya’s important water catchment areas to restore forest cover.

As a socially responsible corporation, the Company has implemented various initiatives to safeguard the environment, promote energy conservation, and reduce carbon emissions. These endeavors encompass fostering and educating employees through the Forest Challenge, where we preserve indigenous trees on our office premises.

Additionally, we have adopted an electronic data management system that significantly minimizes paper usage and carbon emissions. Moreover, the installation of energy-efficient LED bulbs in our offices and the utilization of server virtualization technology in our data center have substantially reduced energy consumption. These endeavors align with the objectives of SDG 13, which emphasizes taking urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
